Adam Steele set a school record for consecutive wins with 32 as
the Cavaliers finished second to Central Crossing Saturday in
the ninth annual First Capital Classic Wrestling Tournament.
Steele
broke the previous record of 31 set by Josh Smith.

Invitational Saturday at CHS
01/14/04
Chillicothe
High School will host the 17th annual Tecumseh Invitational wrestling
tournament Saturday at Hatton Memorial Gymnasium.
Weigh-ins
begin at 8 a.m. for the largest single day middle school wrestling
meet in the southern half of Ohio with 16 teams competing. Five
rounds of wrestling begins at 10 a.m.
Two
championship rounds will be preceded by three preliminary rounds
of Olympic-pool style wrestling.
Awards
will be given to the top four wrestlers in each weight class with
team awards for the top three teams. The top meet wrestler, by
coaches' vote, will receive an MVP plaque.
Admission
will be $4 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.
